Poured in our factory in Mangalore, India, our Apothecary Jar candles are made from premium quality soy wax, infused with essential oils, and with lead-free wick, having a burn time of 18 hours each. Soy wax is an eco-friendly alternative to paraffin; it also burns cleaner (meaning less soot) and longer!

- Remove the lid from the jar before lighting the candle. Do not place the lid on the jar while the candle is burning.
- The first time you use the candle, burn for at least 1-2 hours. Till a small pool is formed. Prevents uneven burn, tongue flick, tunneling, spillage etc.
- From second usage onwards, trim the wick a little before you light the candle. A pair of scissors will do. Prevents wick folding on itself, flame dying out, mushrooming etc.
- Do not light candle where there is air blowing, or near combustibles.

Candle Review: Got 4 scented candles from Ekam in the scents of Cotton, Lemongrass. Royal Oudh and Ceylon Cinnamon. And their candles have exceeded my expectations. Came in beautiful packaging, care was taken to wrap the candles perfectly. The cookie shaped jar won my heart, they not only look aesthetically pleasing, but the jar cover is air-tight. I lit Lemongrass and Cotton candles, while one reminded me of smell of fresh lemongrass in thai curry, other brought back memories of my childhood, when I used to apply baby power from Johnson&johnson regularly. The candles have since wick, hence takes around 5-7 minutes to spread the scent in a single room. The scent lingers even after the candles are lit out. Totally recommend go to for Ekam candles, and yes Fresh Cotton is my favourite till now
